Can ChatGPT Make Me Internet Famous?
My last article was all about how to get the most out of LLMs (Large Language Models)like ChatGPT by using techniques commonly used in hypnosis. I wanted to test some of these techniques to see if ChatGPT could expand my internet following.
The Starting Point
At the time of writing this, my Facebook page has 28 likes and 28 followers.
My Twitter is even worse, with four whole followers.
I’m almost never on social media, so I think this is a good starting point. I don’t know much about marketing or social media so this will be a learning experience for me. It will also be a good test of ChatGPT to see how well it can direct me to do something I have no experience with.
The Prompt
I told ChatGPT that we are going to be partners, and it will be acting as SocialGPT, an AI assistant that will help me with social media marketing.
SocialGPT gave me some excellent tips right away, and it looks like we’re off to the races!
If you’d like to see how it’s going in real time, feel free to follow me on Twitter and Facebook!
Obviously, I can’t be posting on Facebook and Twitter all day long; I do have an important job to do outside of writing! So I’m going to use an app called Simplified to schedule all of my social media posts throughout the week. I already do meal prep on Sundays, so I’ll add this to my prep schedule.
The Parameters
I wanted to define some parameters for this experiment. I want SocialGPT to automate the social media aspect of this. Of course, I’ll still be creating all the content the old-fashioned way. SocialGPT will be totally in charge of what I post on social media. I will give SocialGPT each article I write by copying/pasting the content and asking it to craft social media posts for Facebook and Twitter. I will follow SocialGPT’s initial plan, which includes responding to comments. All responses to the comments will be me rather than SocialGPT. I will be running this experiment for a month and posting updates on how it’s going.
