SocialGPT’s Progress 1 Week Later

You may remember a post I made about a week ago where I set out to use my prompt engineering skills to boost my social media presence. Today I wanted to give a quick update on that effort.

The Past Week

It had given me some advice, but I wanted immediate results. This is basically what I had done for the past week.

SocialGPT gave me some more advice, and I wanted to dig a little deeper into the first piece. So I asked it to create some open-ended questions that users can engage in.

I took those and scheduled them to publish throughout the week. Some of these things sound like you’re actually in an interview, so I’m not sure how well some of these questions will be received. However, the rules are the rules, and I can only post what it says.

I wanted to do something a little different for the second piece of advice. I wanted to have a daily tech tip.

Of course, this is just one week’s worth of tech tips. We’ll post these and see how much engagement we’ll get. I also wanted to know when to post, so I asked.

The Data

Let’s see how these posts performed over the course of the week.

I have also gained one whole new follower on Twitter. Overall, there hasn’t really been much in the way of social media engagement. However, I think we’re on the right track. Now, all I have to do is give SocialGPT this data in the form of a CSV file.

We’re now in the second iteration, and this is what SocialGPT gave me.

I’ve scheduled the posts, and I’m excited to see if iteration #2 will be an improvement on the first round of posts.

If you want to follow the updates in real-time, feel free to follow me on Facebook and Twitter!
